Project Brief
• Terminal Building of a sea port is the hub of international trade communication.
• Payra Port Terminal Building is designed symbolizing “PIGEON” (পায়রা), with its calmness and dynamic characteristics.
• As the site locates in the highest wind pressure zone, we designed “WIND FRAME” to reduce and redirect wind load to the façade.
• “RCC” surface of the facades are proposed to be used for solar power generation with transparent solar panel.
• The Terminal Building is designed in two phases, firstly up to 5th floor will be constructed. Then with the growth of the port the building will rise up to 9th floor.
