Feasibility Study for Development of Darwani Textile Mills Ltd Site at Nilphamari

Project Overview

The feasibility study for the proposed Darwani Textile Mill at Nilphamari has been undertaken over a total land area of 37.86 acres to evaluate the project’s technical, economic, environmental, and operational viability. The study aims to assess the suitability of establishing a modern, integrated textile manufacturing facility in the northern region of Bangladesh, strengthening regional industrialization and employment generation. The selected site in Nilphamari district offers a relatively flat terrain with minimal undulation, reducing the requirement for extensive land filling and grading. A detailed topographic survey was conducted to determine contour levels, natural drainage flow, and site accessibility.
