Project Overview

The feasibility study for the proposed Dinajpur Textile Mill at Dinajpur has been conducted over a total land area of 37.104 acres, aiming to assess the project’s technical, financial, environmental, and operational viability. The study evaluates the suitability of the site for establishing an integrated textile manufacturing facility while ensuring sustainable industrial development in the northern region of Bangladesh. The selected site in Dinajpur district offers strategic advantages, including regional road connectivity, access to labor resources, and proximity to agricultural zones suitable for cotton-based industrial linkage. The land topography is generally flat with minimal elevation variation, making it suitable for large-scale industrial development with limited earthwork. Soil investigation reports were reviewed to determine bearing capacity, settlement characteristics, and foundation recommendations for heavy industrial structures.
